Life Before Thomas Jefferson High School

I am originally from the West suburbs of Chicago and have been living in Denver for the past 7 years. I first learned about and discovered my passion for restorative justice during my undergraduate program at DePaul University after successfully completing the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program in spring 2013. This is my second year at TJ, marking my 6th year in DPS and working in the restorative justice field in public education. My mission is to achieve social justice and significantly decrease (and one day fully eliminate) the likelihood of the school-to-prison pipeline through utilizing restorative practices in schools.

On the weekends, you can find me hiking, reading, taking yoga classes, and trying new recipes.
